This is a sublime antique French jewellery / trinket stand dating from the 1800's. It would certainly add an authentic finishing touch to a château chic boudoir.
The frame of the stand is made of wirework and is entwined with tendrils of toleware leaves and flowers. Within the frame sits a beautiful naturally polished mother of pearl bowl. An oval bevelled mirror on the back of the frame completes this astonishing ensemble.
The stand and it's glass bowl have survived the years in good condition. The glass of the mirror plate has foxed a little as one would expect. The glass of the bowl is all in good order with no chips or cracks.
The stand measures 7 inches) high x 5.1 inches wide x 5 inches deep.
