Die-cut tin advertising display in the form of a smiling, stylized gentleman dressed in a green suit with bowtie, hands tucked casually into his pockets. The figure's torso reads "Delighted with the Clothes Sold By," with the base panel marked "Ethan Allen Clothier Marshall." This is believed to have advertised a Battle Creek-area haberdashery.
Bold black outlines and flat color fields give the piece a graphic, cartoon-like presence typical of mid-century retail signage. A single mounting hole at the top suggests wall or window display use, while the reverse reveals unfinished galvanized metal with remnants of old mounting or label adhesive.
