An exceptionally striking piece, ideal for infusing a noble, classical atmosphere into gardens, courtyards, or prestigious stately interiors. This superb, solid stone sculptural capital is a refined and highly valuable piece, perfect as a stand-alone decorative element or as a majestic base for vases, statues, and glass tabletops.
Subject and Style: The structure rises from a solid octagonal base. The central body is magnificently enriched with a deep carving of plant motifs, acanthus leaves, and ornamental scrolls in exquisite neoclassical style. The upper portion is elegantly finished with a pearl molding that encircles the circular support surface.
Material and Finish: The work was handcrafted from a single, imposing block of natural stone, as evidenced by its exceptional weight of over 36 kg. Prolonged exposure to the elements has given the surface a splendid patina, characterized by natural chiaroscuro effects, material traces, and physiological signs of aging that enhance its absolute authenticity.
