Measuring 42 cm tall with a 25 cm diameter, this geometric lamp embodies a modernist torchiere design with perfectly angled lines. A tall, conical glass shade, crafted from a single piece of pale blue marbled glass, sits atop an angular torch-like base in a minimalist, Cubist shape that echoes Bauhaus principles. Produced during a period when decoration reigned supreme, this lamp defies the intricate detailing typical of 1920s French design. Instead, it offers a unique, one-of-a-kind Cubist aesthetic, showcasing impeccable French glassmaking skill and technique. Both the shade and torchiere base are crafted from pastel blue cased marbled glass, accented with flashes of yellow and royal blue and finished with a matte, acid-etched texture. This piece has been fully rewired and features a nickel-plated lamp holder, white braided cable, and a modern white inline switch.
