designed by the visionary konstantin grcic in 2003 and produced by the renowned italian manufacturer magis, this pair of "chair one" radically deconstructs traditional seating. What makes this specific off-white duo truly extraordinary is its origin: these chairs were sourced directly from the outdoor terraces of the musée du louvre in paris. Having hosted visitors from all over the globe at the world's most famous museum, this pair carries an undeniable historical aura.
architectural presence & everyday versatility
inspired by geodesic domes and origami, grcic created a skeletal, three-dimensional structure that plays beautifully with negative space. Because the seat is not solid, it allows light to pass through, making your space feel larger and more dynamic.
