This piece is … Read more A striking and sculptural art deco table lamp attributed to ystad metall, sweden, dating to the 1930s. This piece is a fine example of early scandinavian modernism, combining strong geometric form with refined decorative detailing. The design is centered around a spherical body composed of two joined halves, finished in a beautifully mottled green and bronze patina that gives the surface depth and a rich, time-earned character. The sphere is supported by an elegant base adorned with three finely cast pewter eagles, their wings outstretched to create a dynamic and architectural foundation. The contrast between the warm patinated bronze and the cooler tone of the pewter eagles enhances the lamp’s sculptural presence, making it a true statement object from every angle. The lamp is sold without lampshade.
