Jeanneret was commissioned by the city of Chandigarh, India, … Read more Pierre Jeanneret, SI-41-B sofa in teak and reupholstered in black leather. Jeanneret was commissioned by the city of Chandigarh, India, to build and design for the Punjab University Administrative buildings and a few private residences. They were produced between circa 1952 and 1957. Provenance: photographer Kalle Gustafsson / Galerie Mason Première. The collection has been examined by renowned swedish furniture conservator and restorator Jon Bjellerup and Ulf Brunne. Document are provided. This item has been renovated, the wooden legs and frame has patina. Lightly restored in the frame. Smaller damages - normal wear due to age and use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
