Subject and Style: The lamp rests on a finely turned balustrade structure, characterized by an elegant alternation of spherical shapes and classically styled moldings. The large, dramatic drum-shaped lampshade dominates the base, perfectly balancing the generous proportions and vertical thrust of the entire piece.

Material and Finish: The solid, heavy frame is crafted entirely of brass with a luxurious silver finish, which today boasts a magnificent and inimitable patina. The vintage lampshade is covered in a thick, textured fabric in warm ochre/mustard tones, exquisitely trimmed with contrasting geometric trimmings. A refined stylistic detail is visible beneath the lampshade: the lamp holder cover faithfully models the features of a burned candle with raised wax drops.
