​Following a distinguished 55-year career restoring 18th-century royal marquetry (and holding former certification by the strict French Monuments Historiques), Michel Postaire now channels his unparalleled, centuries-old traditional expertise into bespoke contemporary design.

This spectacular architectural coffee table represents the pinnacle of modern French artisanship. The centerpiece is its breathtaking "Damier" (checkerboard) geometric tabletop. By expertly selecting, cutting, and contrasting the natural grain of solid premium hardwoods (Sébastien, on listera les bois ici), the Master creates a mesmerizing optical depth and a rich tapestry of organic tones. The top is framed by a finely profiled solid wood border and supported by elegantly tapered, Mid-Century inspired legs.
