A refined and majestic 20th-century table lamp in heavy, solid patinated brass, attributed to high-quality craftsmanship in a classical style. Featuring a richly contoured base with scrolls and curls and a turned shaft, topped by a new and untouched, tailored, truncated cone-shaped lampshade in fine fabric embroidered in relief with floral motifs in shades of teal/emerald green. Preserved in excellent condition, the solid metal frame is enhanced by a charming original period burnishing. The lampshade is new and never used, and the electrical system is tested and fully functional with a convenient gold foot switch.
