This rare table lamp with a radical design, attributed to the renowned Italian manufacturer Targetti Sankey, is a highly prized furnishing accessory for lovers of Space Age style.
Subject and Style: The design strips away all excess to focus on a rigorous and clean tubular cylindrical shape. The techno-industrial aesthetic is enhanced by the absence of a traditional lampshade, specifically designed to showcase the dramatic silver-dome bulbs that continue and complement the object's play of reflections.
Material and Finish: The entire supporting structure, from the stem to the flat circular base, is crafted from solid, heavy metal, embellished with a brilliant mirror-polished chrome finish. The base retains its original protective, scratch-resistant dark felt covering.
