This rare vintage tube radio, produced by the historic siare company of milan, is a highly prized item for collectors of historic audio equipment and lovers of mid-20th-century design.

design and style: the aesthetic is distinguished by the wooden cabinet with soft lines and gently rounded sides. The front features a large rectangular woven fabric speaker grille, topped by the striking, wide, slanted dial.

material and finish: the solid, heavy cabinet is wood veneer, embellished with elegant burl wood grain on the sides that enhance its elegance. The front knobs are dark bakelite. Removing the original wooden back panel provides access to the magnificent metal chassis, which preserves the authentic tube electronics, complete with a metal plaque reading "radio siare milano - model 443 a".
