The spherical, orange-red lacquered metal shade is designed as a classic eyeball and is attached to the vertical stem by a surrounding metal clamp. The shade can be rotated and tilted, allowing for flexible adjustment of the light output. The interior surface is light-colored, providing a direct, focused light effect. The slender, cylindrical metal stem sits on a flat, round base in a matching orange-red lacquer. Visible brass elements at the base add a typical material accent of the period. The on/off switch is a classic cord switch.

condition: good, original condition with age-related wear. Minor paint wear on the base and the edge of the shade, as well as patina on the metal parts. The felt underside shows age-related wear. The electrical components are functional.
