A pair of wall lamps, designed in 1985 by adam t. Tihany and joseph mancini for foscarini and produced by foscarini. This pair of sconces has a bold, playful geometric design and is titled "wassily on the wall."
they are inspired by the aesthetics of constructivism and bauhaus, particularly the visual language of wassily kandinsky, from which the model also takes its name (see the inside label).
the composition resembles an abstract sculpture: a glossy turquoise sphere at the top serves as a light source. Two cones, one gray and the other larger pink, house the light source. Both the sphere and the cones are made of murano glass, while the circular frame is made of red-painted metal. This piece has an attribution mark,
