A masterpiece of glass art – a huge wall mirror with glass coat hooks and a glass shelf. The piece dates from the third quarter of the 20th century and originates from Italy. It is a large mirror framed by further curved, cobalt-blue mirrored panels. Three hooks are mounted in the upper section of the mirrored panel; these are also made of glass – masterfully turned clear glass with a ribbed surface. They were likely produced by a glassworks in Murano – such as Venini or Barovier. The base is made of metal and wood, with delicate, curved wooden feet and a ruffled border at the bottom.
