Made entirely of metal, sedimenti is a family of modular wall panels designed to create dramatic backdrops which play with colour and three-dimensionality. Like a geological landscape, sedimenti recounts the passage of time through textural stratification, echoing of the processes of nature. The result is expressive and dynamic, a surface which inspires awe, exalted by a unique combination of elements. As it juxtaposes different metals and finishes, sedimenti gives rise to refined three-dimensional tonal layers, made possible by the unique savoir-fair and innovation of de castelli. Each horizontal element is composed of a slat upon which two softly undulating borders are layered, at the top and bottom. The three elements are mechanically assembled and the slats are affixed to the wall with a toothed rack system.
