This art glass sculpture … Read more An impressive and very rare glass sculpture of a head by Kosta Boda, made in Sweden. This art glass sculpture depicts a head in profile, with a base color of blue. In a second step, glass powder in a striking array of colors was fired onto the front. The blue base color shimmers through, but the main colors of the front are orange, yellow, and green. The face is beautifully sculpted, and the physiognomy is finely detailed.

The base bears the signature, a model number, and another name – the designer's name. A metal hanging device was also integrated into the glass during its creation.
