Most likely a piece from the renowned úluv or krásná jizba production. This over a meter long stand is highly versatile and can serve equally well as a side bookshelf or a small bar table.
the solid oak structure was completely stripped of its original varnish by hand, carefully sanded to a smooth finish, reinforced, and stained in an elegant combination of teak/black. It is finished with six layers of osmo clear semi-matt hardwax oil for maximum durability.
a striking feature is the contrast provided by the custom-cut frosted (milky) glass inserts. The bottom glass is set into a routed base, fits perfectly, and can withstand a high load. The upper glass panes are loosely set into grooves.
this particular model rarely appears on the market. If you are looking for matching seating, i also have a set of jan vaněk armchairs in another listing, finished with the same materials and technique. A great tip for an extra touch would be adding led strip backlighting to the bottom glass.
