artist giuseppe gheduzzi (crespellano, bologna, may 12, 1889 – turin, may 21, 1957) son of the painter ugo, he learned the basics of art from his father and later attended the accademia albertina in turin as a student of andrea marchisio and paolo gaidano, leaving his studies after three years to collaborate with his father on set designs for the teatro regio. A skilled landscape painter, he painted venetian scenes, views of the lakes and valleys of piedmont, and the ligurian riviera, distinguishing himself from his brother cesare particularly through his interiors with figures and his orientalist subjects. He participated in the annual exhibitions of the promotrice delle belle arti in turin and the circolo degli artisti, and held several solo exhibitions in northern italy.
