Rare mid-century Scandinavian cabinet with graphic paneled front, likely produced in the 1950s–60s. What immediately stands out is the front: a tight grid of vertical and horizontal lines, almost architectural in feel. It gives the piece a strong rhythm and depth without becoming decorative. Subtle, but very effective. The small brass details and original key add just enough contrast to the warm tone of the wood. The cabinet is raised on slender legs with a slightly curved lower rail, which gives it a lighter, almost floating appearance despite its compact proportions. The construction feels solid and well thought out, typical of higher-end Scandinavian work from this period. Inside, there is a beautiful contrast. The darker exterior opens up to a lighter interior with shelves and a stack of finely shaped drawers. The drawers have a soft, sculptural front edge and slide well. This mix of darker exterior and lighter interior always works visually and gives the piece a bit more depth in use.

The wood has a rich, warm tone with a nice, even patina. Light signs of use consistent with age, nothing distracting. Overall in very good condition. A strong piece that works well in both minimal and more layered interiors. Not overly large, but with enough presence due to the graphic front.
