Up to 22 sets of this beautiful vintage modernist flatware from Austria, model 2070, designed by Helmut Alder in 1959 and produced by Neuzeughammer Ambosswerk in the 1960s. Each set includes a knife, fork, and spoon. There are actually 22 sets available, so flatware for 22 people. This is a high-quality set made of stainless steel.
Dimensions: Large spoon / fork: 7.5″ / 19 cm Knife: 8.3″ / 21 cm In very good condition with normal signs of wear, such as fine, light surface scratches. Design: A timeless, modern design distinguished by its elegant, slender form. Despite the pronounced tapering, the pieces are very stable. The handles are flattened at the end to provide a comfortable thumb rest and allow for a monogram without disturbing the overall design concept. Amboss Austria also produced many flatware designs by Carl Auböck. We have many more pieces and cutlery from this series in our other listings. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
