The tabletop is original: wide, thick, with an open grain and a deep patina built up over decades of use. Knots, marks, and surface irregularities are all part of the piece, giving it its character. It has been completely refinished in our workshops and finished with a matte varnish to ensure its durability.

the tapered pine legs, with their square, scalloped cross-section, have been entirely remade by a cabinetmaker to offer proportions suited to contemporary use, with a height of 65 cm under the apron and a comfortable seat. The lighter shade of the legs contrasts subtly with the patinated tabletop: two distinct phases of the same material, clearly visible in the piece.
