an elegant, straight-fronted secretary desk crafted from precious woods, featuring refined marquetry in a frieze pattern, arranged in lozenges and geometric frames.

the desk opens with a drawer in the frieze, fitted with bronze handles, above a drop-front that reveals a fitted interior. This interior offers several small drawers, compartments, and shelves, typical of late 18th-century office furniture.

the drop-front, lined with leather (worn, needs restoration), rests on pull-out slides forming a writing surface. The lower section opens with two doors revealing a storage compartment.

the slightly rounded uprights and tapered legs give the piece an elegant and balanced silhouette.
