Antique Gilded Lampshade Pendants, ideal for illuminating the living room, study, or bedroom with a classic decor. They are crafted using terminals resting on a hexagonal base with vegetable-carved frames in lime wood, turned and carved in the round with original fine gold leaf gilding on a red bole base. These gilded terminals originally decorated the top of a canopy from Northern Italy, made around the mid-1800s. They are mounted with a large E27 bulb socket and a truncated cone-shaped lampshade in light ivory cotton canvas, edged with gold trimmings. The pair of lamps is in good working order.
