Painting by Slovak painter Marian Komáček titled "Gorilla Kiss", oil on canvas, 2017.
Marián Komáček (*1959, Gbely) is one of the prominent figures of the contemporary Slovak art scene. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, and his work includes painting, graphic art, illustration, and ex-libris creation. He is known for his distinctive use of color and dynamic composition, which are also typical of his painting work. He has presented his works in many exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad.
