1 of 3 original 1987 Triple Stamped original vintage Charles & Ray Eames, Vitra, Herman Miller EA 116 swivel office chairs in very rare dark brown Hopsak
These chairs are part of a suite, I have three high back versions and three standard backs
I've never seen this colour upholstery before, its very dark brown, in poor light it looks charcoal black but its definitely a deep dark Chocolate brown. The chairs have all been professionally upholstery cleaned, being nearly 40 years old they will have some pitting in the chrome work and some patina in the hopsak
The chairs are all triple stamped, they have the Charles & Ray Eames stickers around the shafts, these stickers are heavily worn, next you have the Vitra Eames stickers, these are all in perfect condition, lastly the serial number 938-139 with the Herman Miller monogram is embossed in the frame
