Model of the "Area" lamp executed in red bent acrylic. Attributed to Neal Small, a designer recognized in the late 1960s for his sculptural lighting utilizing high-quality plastics and acrylics. The piece consists of a formed red acrylic structure with curved base supports that cradle a central white spherical diffuser using exposed chrome-plated hardware. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
