The work combines the historical pageantry of the 18th-century French court with the signature exaggeration of volumes characteristic of the artist's style. The figure is depicted with an ornate gown and an elaborate headdress, where the amplified proportions transform the sovereign into a symbol of majesty and opulence. Produced using the lost-wax technique, the piece is distinguished by a uniform brown patina and precise details in the rendering of the fabrics and headdress textures.
