Three presences in dialogue, measured in gesture and distance.
They don't seek each other: they recognize each other.
Each element is born double, like a thought that can walk alone or become the threshold of the other.
Body and lid, containing and guarding, defenseless until they choose to meet. The stone speaks through slow stratifications.
Breccia Medicea and Rosso Rubino alternate like heartbeats, compressed memories of time. The wood responds with a story already lived. Staves of exhausted barrels, which have held the red wine and now carry the echo of fermentation, the distant scent of transformation. Stone and wood can remain alone, autonomous, complete in their identity. But when they overlap, the essential happens: an affinity that does not impose hierarchies but suggests coexistence.
Three shapes that inhabit space with the calm of what can last, and with the delicacy of what has already learned to change.
Three presences in dialogue, balanced through gesture and spacing.
They do not seek one another, they recognize one another.
Each element is conceived as a pair: like a thought that can stand alone or become a threshold for another. Receptacle and lid, holding and protecting, inactive until they choose to come together. Stone speaks through slow layering.
Breccia Medicea and Rosso Rubino alternate in a measured rhythm, time compressed into matter. Wood responds with a history already lived. Staves reclaimed from disused red-wine barrels, once holding wine, now carrying the echo of fermentation and the distant scent of transformation. Stone and wood can exist independently, self-sufficient, complete in their own identity. Yet when they overlap, something essential occurs: an affinity that imposes no hierarchy but suggests coexistence.
Three forms that inhabit space with the calm of what endures, and the delicacy of what has already learned how to change.
