These fantastic lamps were made in France in the 1960s and are attributed to the master craftsman Louis Sognot. The lamps are a clear example of the organic craftsmanship and design of the 1960s, executed in a spectacular blend of rattan and wicker in perfect proportions. The round shade is decorated with bent rattan and embellished with fantastic hand-woven wicker work. It is complemented on the inside by a parchment-like material that makes the lamps spectacular when lit. The base of the lamp consists of three bent rattan legs embellished with wicker. Completely original and in spectacular condition, this stunning lamp is a must-have for any lover of the Côte d'Azur style. It comes wired and tested, compatible with both US and European standards, and uses a single E14 bulb. This lamp will be perfect for a mid-century living room or to complement a conservatory thanks to its elegance and harmony.
