Designed in the 1960s by the visionary duo preben fabricius & jørgen kastholm and produced by bo-ex, these pieces embody the perfect symbiosis of minimalist steel architecture and luxurious comfort.
sculptural design & ultimate comfort
the striking base made of matte steel with its iconic t-shaped legs gives the furniture a floating lightness and extreme stability. The slightly sloped backrest is ergonomically designed to provide optimal support for the body. The cushions, filled with real down, provide an unparalleled seating experience, contrasting the austere outer frame with a soft, inviting element. Added to this are the rare headrests that can be screwed to the wall—making sitting even more comfortable. These features make the set a true rarity worldwide.
special feature: optimized seat height
a key advantage of this specific set is its professional ergonomic adjustment: a discreet 7.5-cm metal riser has been screwed under each leg. This raises the original, very low seat height to a comfortable 41 cm. This modification makes standing up and sitting down significantly more comfortable without disrupting the design’s lines. Note: the risers can be easily unscrewed if necessary to restore the original condition – only the screw holes are visible.

both pieces are upholstered in high-quality black genuine leather. The leather is in good, unrestored original condition and has developed a beautiful, authentic patina over the decades.
