The vertically oriented painting, well-lit and beautifully sized, would easily fit into any room in the home. The painter's placement, placing the Madonna at the center, is pleasing.

In her arms, a curly-haired baby Jesus sleeps blissfully, about to be placed in the cradle. To the right, Joseph observes the scene. The painting has undergone conservative restoration, relining, and recoloring in several areas (see photo). Overall, the painting is in good condition. See less
