Poul cadovius teak shelving unit „royal" made in the 1950s-1960s in denmark. It has been fully renovated.
the overall set size is h: 149 / w: 244 / d: 30 cm.
this set is an entirely modular shelving system with nine shelves veneered in teak, hanging on solid wood rails with solid golden brass hangers. The wall unit can be arranged according to one’s will. The shelves can be placed higher or lower, using an easy mounting system of regular slots all along the rail. This piece will be a practical and elegant addition to any room. Additionally, this set has an expository shelf for magazines or vinyl records.
this set consists of:
- 3 shelves 30 cm depth,
- 3 shelves 20 cm depth,
- 2 shelves 24 cm depth,
- 4 wooden rails 100 cm long,
- brass hardware,
- 1 expository shelf 29 cm depth.
the unit has been renovated. The wood has been cleaned and covered with layers of danish oil. The shelves have a nice satin, low-luster sheen so appreciated on danish mid-century modern pieces. Overall, this set is in fantastic renovated condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
