A classic late 19th century Chesterfield sofa, upholstered in richly patinated leather.
The piece features the hallmark deep buttoned back and arms, with a generously proportioned seat and fully upholstered, tufted cushion. The arms are of traditional rolled form, equal in height to the back, creating the iconic, enveloping Chesterfield silhouette.
The leather has developed a beautifully worn surface over time, with a warm, olive-brown tone and natural variations that highlight the age and use of the piece. This patina gives the sofa considerable character and depth, enhancing its overall appeal.
Raised on turned front legs with castors, the sofa retains its original sense of formality while remaining practical.
