Exquisite set of four Galliano Ferro 1950s hand blown thin gold flecked, amber colored glass and applied aquamarine blue tear drops. 4" x 2.5" Pontil marks on all four bowls' bases. Kindly note that at the bottom of one of the bowls, there are some small dark spots trapped within the
glass are typically "seeds" or ash.
TraditionalMurano glass is made using ancient techniques and basic tools. During the melting process, small particles of
unburned carbon or ash from the
wooden ovens can sometimes get
trapped between layers of molten glass.
