The framing is original and was by the Palette Art Company in NYC. He went to Maine to paint with his best friend, acclaimed artist Andrew Wythe whose paintings are now worth millions.
Jack Vallée earned the prestigious Emily Lowe Award in 1953. His works belong in the permanent collections of the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, MA, Connecticut Academy of Fine Art, and the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art at the University of Oklahoma.
