French Iron collection, a series celebrated for its heavyweight, authentic craftsmanship that has since been discontinued as of 2017. Inspired by the classic neoclassical sella curulis and traditional 19th-century French conservatory furniture, these stools feature an iconic curule (X-frame) silhouette that provides both architectural strength and a timeless, stately aesthetic. Unlike later reproductions or lighter modern alternatives, each of these stools is crafted from solid cast iron and weighs a substantial 21 lbs, offering the stability and heirloom quality expected from premium RH ironwork.
The design is defined by an intricate pierced lattice seat and elegant fretwork along the legs, all joined by a decorative turned H-stretcher with a central floral boss.
