A Gorgeous and majestic set of four Chippendale Georgian styled dining/accent armchairs. Kensington Hall by Regency House, Inc. Hickory, N.C.
The central back piece (splat) features an intricate, pierced ribbon or "v-scroll" design. The top rail has a distinctive "yoke" shape with a central carved shell or fan motif.
Ball-and-Claw Feet: The cabriole legs end in the classic "ball-and-claw" design, symbolizing a dragon's claw clutching a pearl. The knees of the legs and the arms show detailed acanthus leaf carvings. Measuring 26.5 inches in width, 41 inches in height, 22 inches in depth. The seat height is 19.5 inches, the seat width is 24 1/2 inches, interior seat width is 21 1/2 inches, and the arm height is.24.25 inches.
