This is an L Straus and Sons Limoges Chocolate Pot that is dated 1890 to 1920. It is white with blue and pin k flowers with a lot of gold trim including a gold painted spout and handle. The pot has a square base with grat shaping and is in exceptional condition considering it is likley over one hundred years old. This one has been very well cared for.
The pot measures 5.00 inches across the base as shown in picture 1. It is 8.25 inches tall to the rim and 10.00 inches tall to the top of the handle.
The inside is clean and shiny white with no sign it’s ever been used. It has no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. The gold trim shows no wear. The L. Straus and Sons mark is shown.
