The chocolate pot is white … Read more This is a a signed and hand painted Haviland Chcolate Pot with an 1876 backstamp. The chocolate pot is white or off white with a matte finish and a leaf and berry hand painted design in green, orange, yellow and blue. All the leaves and berries are outlined in raised gold trim. The base has a shaped design painted gold and the handles are painted gold with some wear. The gold trim on the rim is mostly gone. The front and back are completely different and both are shown.

The Chocolate Pot measures 5.00 inches across and is 8 3/8 inches tall to the rim. It is 9 5/8 inches tall to the top of the handle.

The lid has a matching design. The gold trim on the rim is gone and there is some wear on the handle on the left as shown.

It has the 1876 Haviland Limoges backstamp as shown.

There are no chips, cracks, or other damage. The signature or initals is shown. The inside shows some signs of use but is mostly clean with no staining or damage. See less
