Vintage woven rattan table lamp with a sculptural urn form and deep, dimensional basket weave. Likely made in the 1970s, this piece reflects the relaxed coastal and bohemian aesthetic that has come back strongly into current interiors with mid-century boho or Palm Beach style.
The body is constructed of tightly woven natural rattan over a solid frame, sitting on a dark wood base with original brass hardware. The weave pattern is especially well done, with a raised, almost braided effect that gives the lamp real presence.
Unmarked, as is typical of these imports, but consistent with pieces produced in the Philippines or Taiwan during the period.
A strong, natural fiber decorative piece that works well in coastal, organic modern, or layered vintage interiors.
