Established in 1661 and a former purveyor to the Japanese Imperial Household, Zohiko is the pinnacle of Japanese lacquer artistry. This 9-inch piece features a translucent fuki-urushi (wiped lacquer) finish that beautifully showcases the natural wood grain. It is decorated with a masterfully applied Maki-e (sprinkled gold and silver powder) orchid motif.
