This pillow cover was made from an authentic Turkish Isparta rug woven in 1976 — nearly 50 years old. The rug was hand-knotted in wool by a woman in a village in Anatolia, and this pillow cover preserves the most beautifully worn section of the original piece, giving it a second life in your home.
The design has faded almost entirely into abstraction over nearly five decades — soft whispers of peach, blush, and sage green ghost through a warm ivory cream ground.
