19th century French Louis XV style gilded mirror with beveled glass, featuring a hand-carved wood frame finished in gesso and gilding.
The frame is richly decorated with acanthus leaf carving throughout the corners and sides, along with a beautifully detailed Louis XV style cartouche crest at the top, incorporating floral and shell-like elements. Beaded carving further enhances the refinement of the design.
The surface displays an exquisite patina, with areas of red bole visible beneath the gilding, adding depth and authenticity.
