Authentic Danish faience bowl from the iconic Baca series by Royal Copenhagen, designed by Ivan Weiss. This piece features a striking bird-and-foliage motif rendered in earthy tones of black, grey, and burnt orange, hallmarks of the Baca aesthetic.
The Baca line, developed under Nils Thorsson, allowed artists like Weiss to create unique surface designs on standardized forms, resulting in highly collectible variations.
