A framed black and white editioned photograph by American photographer Herb Ritts (1952–2002) dated to 1988. Entitled "Jack Nicholson IV, London", the work is one of the four iconic photos taken by Ritts in 1988 of Nicholson playing the character the Joker in the 1989 movie Batman. The gelatin silver print is no 6 from an edition of 25. The image measures 12 7/8" x 10 1/8" on 14" x 12" sheet, matted and framed under museum-quality glass.
The photograph has a copyright credit blind stamp on the lower right margin. It was further signed, titled, and numbered 6/25 in pencil on the verso as shown.
