A decorative 20th century equestrian patinated brass fireplace tool set, comprising a stand, shovel, tongs, poker, and brush, each surmounted by finely cast horse head finial handles. The stand and tools are executed in warm brass with an aged mellow patina. The tools are supported on a square base measuring 2" tall accented by an engraved sunburst geometric motif and a low surrounding gallery with corner finials details. The tools feature long slender shafts with varying instrument forms and matched together by the sculptural horse head accent. Crafted in the English Country House style, the set would be an elegant and characterful addition to a hearth, study, or traditional sitting room. The five piece set includes a poker, brush, shovel, tongs, and a stand. Each piece decorated with a hose motif finial on top. The brass has a lovely aged patina as seen in photos.
