This is a rare example of the early American Flag with 45 stars. Made for the inclusion of Utah 1896- 1907. This flag was also used during the Spanish American War 1898. This flag shows some age related wear as can be seen in the pictures. Made from cotton this flag lasted for 12 years under 3 Presidents, Grover Cleveland (1893- 1897) , William McKinley
(1897- 1901 and Theadore Roosevelt ( 1901-1909). Frame size is 25””18” and 1.5”. The flag size is 12.5”x 7.3/4”. All measurements are approximate. Set in an age related frame and under glass. This is a great piece of American folk art history. The flag is American made.
