Oil on fabric, approximately 60 x 60 inches, presented framed under glass as originally delivered from Vito Schnabel Gallery.
This work is from Anderson’s Fabric series exhibited in 2012. The composition combines gestural black linework with areas of saturated red against a densely patterned ground, creating a sense of movement and layered narrative characteristic of the series.
The painting has been continuously displayed in a private home since acquisition and has not been in storage. Framing is original to the gallery presentation.
Certificate of Authenticity included (pictured).
Condition: Very good overall; photographed under glass with minor reflections visible in images.
