A "painterly" painting. The artist here returns to his impressionist/post impressionist roots. He does not draw the hundreds of leaves that appear in this painting; rather he uses multi-colored "dabs" of heavily applied oil paint to create the impression of leaves in an autumnal forest. The leaves rise above the canvas creating a multi-textured surface.

This midsize painting was rendered on an 18" x 24" canvas and measures 24" x 30" including decorative frame.
